Soft materials stimulate the senses and create a feeling of pleasure and luxury. We believe that natural fabrics can change the home’s atmosphere and your own state of mind. We work so hard to have the home we want, now it's time to enjoy it.
About the Founder
Al Hutter studied Anthropology at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada, to gain perspective that is rich with empathy and sensitivity. While achieving her BA, she taught herself how to sew, and became enthralled in the process of creating clothing. After graduating, she later moved to London, England to immerse herself in the London fashion scene.
It was there where she learnt construction techniques by interning with London designers and worked for high end flagship retail stores. Later she moved back to Canada and continued working for a variety of garment production studios, including working as design assistant to Cirque Du Soleil.
Now living in Montréal, she launched aleur to help people feel beautiful at home. The brand focuses on local production, local fabric sourcing, and innovative design to create quality sustainable loungewear for all. Through this wide range of life experience she's able to provide her clientele with a deep understanding of their needs for comfort, function and freedom.
